The center of Dupont is the Municipal
building. All daily functions, are controlled
from here. The police station is located in
the lower section, as well as the road crew
department.

Located at 600 Chestnut Street, the building
has a handicap ramp that makes it
accessible to all the citizens of Dupont.
Council chambers, Mayor's office, Secretary's
office, clerks office, and council president's
offices are all located on the top floor, accessed
through the Chestnut Street side of the building.
In the lower floor of the building, accessible
from Quality Row, is the police department
and the road crew department. The office is
open from 9 am till 5 pm daily. The police
station is open 24 hours a day, and the road
crew department is open from 7 am till 3 pm
during the winter months, and 6 am till 2 pm
during the summer months. The council
presidents office also is used as a private
meeting room, designed with a table and chairs.
